Google on Main

Saturday night I was presented with the opportunity to photograph the wearefeelinglucky.com event Google on Main in downtown Greenville. I was definitely shooting from the hip on this one while also confronting my acrophobia. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do to get a shot.

Sometimes when dealing with folks dressed in black, you just have to corral them with a bullhorn.

Michael from Culture Prophet was spinning tracks to pump up the crowd

The group was setting up in the Peace Center amphitheater, awaiting instructions and learning about the LED glowsticks.

Didn’t take them long to get the swing of things.

Glow Sticks!

What followed was possibly the largest ever black-clad, glowstick-waving migration of a non-rave.

Non-rave movement.

Let the non-rave begin!

Non-ravers, non-raving.

Somehow they remained organized and formed the google logo, which is seen in the wrong dimension here.

Google sideways.

I think I saw this guy in Blade Runner.

Replicant, anyone?
